"Would It Kill Us to Try Love?"
Racism is the stupidest form of hate there is.
Not just evil. Stupid. Because none of us chose the color we were born with. You didn’t wake up one day and say, “I think I’ll be Black. Or White. Or Brown.” You just are. Same as me.
So why punish a whole people for something they never picked? Why build walls on a lie? Why treat someone as less—less human, less worthy, less alive—just because of skin that means nothing in the dark?
You want someone to hate? Fine. Hate greed. Hate cruelty. Hate the men in boardrooms who poison rivers and call it profit. Hate the ones who sell war and call it peace. Hate the systems that grind the poor into dust.
But don’t hate skin. Don’t hate blood. Don’t hate the soul just because it wears a shade you don’t understand.
Ask yourself:
Why should I treat someone with less dignity than I’d give my own?
Is your humanity so fragile it depends on who’s standing beside you?
Hate doesn’t fix a damn thing. It only breeds more hate. More pain. More graves.
So what if we tried love instead? Not weak love. Not passive love. But fierce love. The kind that says “You are human. I see you. I stand with you.”
Would it kill us to try? Maybe. But it might also save us.
